Weather station barometer
Though generally thought of as a household instrument to monitor homes, wine cellar, greenhouses or any other climate dependent area, it is also a good solution for a marine barometer on board. Stock model requires AC power, but an optional 12v DC adapter is available. It also uses a 9v backup battery (not included) to protect data during power failures.The crucial pressure data from this instrument are as accurate as (or better than) any electronic barometer in this price range, and it has many more users and a longer history than most.
Comes complete with AC power adapter and detailed instruction book. Can run on batteries for about 30h as a backup to power failure. A PC option (USB or serial port) is available for downloading and analyzing the data in a computer.
